Matthew was born December 31, 1970 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The only son of Raymie and Gayle McKerrow, he was raised in Colorado, Iowa, and Wisconsin before settling and being brought up in Orono, Maine from the age of five on up.
From early on, Matthew had a love of life, family, friends, and sports, which has lasted throughout his life....
Due in large part to his loving and supportive parents, Matthew left Maine in high school to attend The Lawrence Academy in Groton Massachusetts, where he played Ice Hockey, Soccer, and Lacrosse.
After graduating from Lawrence, Matthew went on to the University of Maine to play Division 1 Ice Hockey for the Black Bears, as well as Junior "A" for the Halifax Molson Jr. Canadians in Canada.
Upon graduation from college with a B.A. in Speech Communication, Matthew went into the "real world" working for a marketing company in Florida. Shortly after he was scouted by a photographer and ended up modeling and acting on a "test basis" that turned out to be a career! In the past 11 years he has been fortunate enough to travel the world over working with, and for, amazing people. He can only hope for "continued success; and the same love of life, family, and friends that has gotten me here this far!"
